“A quotation at the right moment is like bread in a famine.” -Talmud

There are those times when something happens in your life. Something uplifting. Something devastating. Something life-changing. Something confusing. Something frustrating. Something that stirs emotion within you. Something happens, and you can’t put what you are feeling into words. Everything you say, everything you write sounds rudimentary. Crude. Ineloquent.
Everything just sounds so wrong.
Then, you hear something. A phrase, a sentence, a speech uttered by someone else at some point in history, and it speaks to you. What you are feeling within is summed up perfectly by somebody else at some other point in time.
That is the beauty of the quote.
I believe there is a quote for every something in life. Therefore, I intend to find the words I could never say or write for every something in my life and share them here. I intend to use those words to help myself better understand that something in my life, and I intend to use those words to help better understand myself.
And—who knows—maybe I’ll even come up with my own quotes that could help somebody else with something in their life at some other point in time.
